Whether you’re in your backyard or in a park, weeds are a plague for any lawn care. They are an invasive species that will take over the grounds and cause more harm than they do good. With that said, inGrounded 2, they are a little more useful as they act as a crafting material that will allow you to build some important structures.
Similar to grass or other natural resources, the Weed Stem is a necessity that you will need to chop down with the base level Omni-Axe, so thankfully you’ll be able to get it very early on to start your adventures. Where it is located is a little trickier as it’s scattered throughout the forest of grass and bugs.

Where to Find Weed Stems
Weed Stems aren’t what you might expect in terms of weeds. When you think of weeds, you probably think of long, green, serrated little plants that grow on your lawn or backyard. In Grounded 2, weeds are a little different.
Weeds are closer to traditional trees in the Grounded universe, with a brown tint for the vast majority of it, with some leaves coming out of it. It is naturally grown all around the world, but more specifically in high grass. One specific area is found in the Snackbar Front, specificallyaround the first Ominent outpost and base.
Once you reach the first Ominent outpost, you will obtain the Omni-Tool, with the first function being an axe. This will help you cut down various stems, fromDry Grassto evenWeeds. Weeds in particular will need a little extra force given they’re a little stronger, but once you get it down, they are yours to do with as you please – crafting, of course.
TheSnackbar and the southernmost portionof the area are ripe with weeds. This isn’t a well-kept area, so you will find these brown weeds sticking out of every spot. You can especially find them on the border leading into the area to the south, which has most of the resources you will need to craft some of the important early-game facilities.

Like any material in the Grounded 2 kingdom, even Weed Stems can come in handy. By far the most useful is the Hatchery, which can be built to help create a mount for you to hop onto and ride across the vast world.
