The Thermal Fish is one of the several fish that you can catch in Fortnite. This fish isn’t new to the game, but it’s turned into an absolute hit within the community this season. Since we now have a no-build mode in Fortnite, finding different ways to smoke out your opponents is a priority. That’s where the Thermal Fish comes into play. Upon consuming it, you will be grantedthermal visionfor a minute. With thermal vision, you will be able tospot enemy heat signaturestemporarily.

That said, there isn’t a specific spot where you can catch the Thermal Fish. You can catch this fish at one of themany fishing spots on the map. Fishing spots can easily be spotted on the bodies of water, too. They appear asripples on water. You will also need a fishing rod to catch these fish. Thesefishing rodscan be foundinside barrelson the docks near every body of water.
Alternatively, if you’re lucky, you could get your hands on a Thermal Fish from one of the severalice boxesthat are spread out all over the island. Here’s a map with all the ice boxes on the island.
Remember that the Thermal Fish can pop out of any of the ice box or fishing spot on the map in Fortnite. If you want to get really lucky, verify you pray to the RNG gods before you hop into a game of Fortnite.
