The Mega Pet Mutation Shard is the seventh shard introduced in Grow a Garden, added during theBeanstalk Expansion Event. Applying this shard gives pets the Mega mutation, which transforms them into a gigantic version of themselves, speeds up their hunger rate by 20%, and grants an enormous XP boost of 10-40 XP every second.
Unlike most shards, the Mega Shard cannot be earned directly, it must be crafted using a Cleansing Pet Shard and Sheckles at theevent’s crafting station. Because of its ability to supercharge leveling speed, it’s one of the most powerful pet upgrades currently available.
