7Complete the Repair the Disco Hall Quest

At the Groove Layer

After finishing the main story, one of thecollest post-game events you can do is called “Repair the Disco Hall,” located in the Groove Layer (Sublayer 1300). When you get there, you’ll find the music has gone quiet. Grumpy Kong is standing near the broken sound system, and he asks for 20,000 gold to fix it. Once you pay him, he repairs the speaker tower.

This unlocks a special Fractone near the speaker. After it powers back on, you may talk to this Fractone to get a Banandium Gem as a thank-you for fixing the music. The hall also lights up again, and the disco balls start spinning.

6Unlock All Five Bananza Rehearsal

By Collecting 600 Banandium Gems

One of the biggest post-game activities you can try is unlocking all the Bananza Rehearsals. These are special training stages set up by each of the five Elders. To access every one of them, you need to collect 600 Banandium Gems. That’s no small task, considering the full game contains 777 Banandium Gems in total. These gems are scattered all over the layers and sublayers, hidden in side quests, challenge ruins, and behind certain puzzles. You’ll need to search carefully and replay some levels to get everything.

Every Donkey Kong Bananza Transformation, Ranked

Here’s every transformation in Donkey Kong Bananza from the most versatile to the ones that only work in very specific moments.

Each Bananza Rehearsal is a unique challenge that focuses on a specific skill or movement style based on the Elder it’s tied to. For example, Zebra’s rehearsal might test your speed and jumps, while Elephant’s could require good timing with heavy moves. The more gems you collect, the more Rehearsals you unlock. Once you hit 600 and clear all five, a final rehearsal hosted by the Great Harmoneel becomes available. Completing the Elder Bananza Rehearsal rewards you withcertain skills. For instance, the completing the Zebra Elder’s Bananza Rehearsal gets you the Golden Dash skill.

5Complete All Challenge Ruins

To Get Banandium Gems

Another major post-game content you may engage in is to complete every single one of the 108 Challenge Ruins spread across all layers. Each one has different goals. Sometimes it’s defeating enemies fast, other times it’s about solving tricky puzzles or completing platforming tasks without falling.

Each challenge ruin rewards you with Banandium Gems (either one or three depending on the type) so clearing them all gives a huge boost to your gem total. You’ll find ruins in every layer, from the Lagoon Layer down through Feast and the Planet Core. Some are right out in the open while others hide behind Void Seals or gates you can only unlock after defeating bosses or paying Gold, or even after using a specific Bananza transformation form like Zebra or Elephant. You often need to punch terrain, solve environment puzzles, or time your movement perfectly to reach Ruins entrances.

4Pay Grumpy Kong with Gold to Construct Three Projects

Battle Rush, Boss Rush, and Baboomtown Restoration Project

you may return to Ingot Isle Cave-In and help Grumpy Kong with three big post-game projects. Each one unlocks something new, but you’ll need to spend Gold to make them happen. The first project is called Battle Rush. It costs 5,000 Gold to start. Once it’s built, it opens up a combat challenge where you face groups of enemies one after another. It’s fast, tough, and great for testing your skills. You can’t take breaks between fights so you have to plan your moves carefully. Winning earns you more Gold and Banandium Gems.

The second event is Boss Rush, which costs 10,000 Gold. This one is for players who want tofight every major bossagain in one long challenge. You’ll go up against bosses like Infalmmonite, Stompenclomper, and others in a row. After each fight, you get a bit of healing and sometimes special items. It’s a good way to practice and earn rewards at the same time. The third project is the most expensive. It’s the Baboomtown Restoration, and it costs 120,000 Gold. When you fund it, Grumpy Kong rebuilds Ingot Isle and places a giant golden statue of Donkey Kong at the top.

3Collect Every Fossil

Trade Fossils for Clothes

Another pretty cool thing you can do after finishing the main story is to collect all 696 fossils. These fossils are hidden all over the underground layers and sublayers. Some are easy to spot, but many are buried in tricky places. You’ll need to search carefully, use the sonar clap near fossil spots, and revisit areas you explored earlier in the game.

Each fossil you collect can be traded at the Style Shops found in different layers. These shops selloutfits for Paulineand Donkey Kong, but they don’t accept Gold. They only take fossils. Some clothes need specific fossils, while others unlock when you collect a full set from a particular category. If you’re missing just one fossil from a group, that can block you from getting the related outfit.

2Sharpen Your Driving Skills

By Taking Part in the Rowdy Race

Once the main story is over, you can head back to the Racing Layer at Sublayer 1100 to try a new challenge called Rowdy Race. This isn’t the normal race you did before. Rowdy Race is a tougher version with new obstacles and trickier tracks. The road is covered in mud which slows you down and makes steering harder. You’ll need quick reactions and sharp turns to stay ahead.

To start the race, talk to Diddy Kong at the Rumble Reception. He’ll let you choose between the standard race and the Rowdy Race. Pick the second one to face Diddy and Dixie Kong in a tougher three-lap match. Mud will block parts of the path, but you can build up your liftoff meter by smashing dirt piles and using ramps made of special ore. When your meter is full, you can launch over long stretches of muddy ground and reach the finish line faster. If you win this race the first time, you get a Banandium Gem as a reward. You can also repeat the challenge to get better lap times or sharpen your skills.

1Collect Every Music Disc

By Defeating Enemies or Tipping Trustystone

Music discs let you listen to different songs from the game whenever you rest at a Getaway. There are over 100 music discs in the game and the most common way to find them is by defeating enemies. Some enemies have a chance of dropping a disc after you beat them. The chance is low at first, so if you just go around fighting without a plan, it might take a long time. But there’s a way to make things easier. If Pauline wears the Diva Dress, which can either be unlocked through amiibo or by completing the five Elder Rehearsals, music discs will drop more often.

Another way to get music discs is by tipping Trustytone characters. These are the little robots you find at Getaways. If you tip them 10 Gold, they might give you a disc as a thank-you. You won’t get one every time, but it’s worth trying if you have Gold to spare. Later in the game a new feature lets you trade 100 Banandium Chips for one random music disc. This is helpful when you’re down to the last few and they’re just not dropping.
