The Ascent Cyber Heist DLC is releasing this week, and the developer Neon Giant has shared some new details about the expansion plus Cyber Heist Edition bundle.
The Ascent Cyber Heist DLC and Cyber Heist Edition Bundle Gets New Details
Releasing on August 18th is theDLCfor the cyberpunk action-RPG The Ascent calledCyber Heist. In case you missed it, the new content adds a new mission which revolves aroundKira, your former employer, who takes up a new contract. Taking players newlocations, to battle new enemies and of course use new weapons as well as armor. One new addition is the use of melee weapons. The events of Cyber Heist take place after the main story.
If you’re wondering whether you have to go it alone, Neon has confirmed players can invite a friend to play even if they don’t own the Cyber Heist DLC. You will need to own the DLC and host the game. If they are lower-level be warned as the DLC will prove more challenging, but it is up to you whether your squad will be able to pull through. Your buddies will even get to keep the loot they gain in Cyber Heist as they will translate back to the main game.
Cyber Heist Edition
In the newly shared FAQ section on the official website, developer Neon Giant have gone over some new details about how to play Cyber Heist. Players will have needed to have completed the mainmission. Players will also be able to purchase the Cyber Edition, a bundle that contains both the base game, Cyber Warrior Pack, CyberSec Pack and the latest DLC Cyber Heist. It’s also available as a physical edition which can be pre-ordered, launching on September 2nd.
As for Xbox players who are missing the latest content, threat not as the devs will be adding the content along with the launch of Cyber Heist on August 18th. This includes Cyber Warrion Pack, Chongqing Pack, Cyber Heist DLC and NG+ as it’s available.
The Ascent is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. The Cyber Heist DLC will release on August 18th.
