Thankfully, authorSeth Grahame-Smithdid, tweaking this beloved story and turning it intoPride and Prejudice and Zombies. While we wait for the movie adaptation to hit theaters on August 07, 2025,IMP Awardshas debuted eight new character posters, which come just a few weeks after thefirst trailerarrived.
These one-sheets featureJack Hustonas Mr. Wickham,Lena Headeyas Lady Catherine De Bourgh,Douglas Boothas Mr. Bingley,Sam Rileyas Mr. Darcy,Suki Waterhouseas Kitty Bennet,Matt Smithas Mr. Collins andLily Jamesas Elizabeth Bennet. If you’re familiar with Jane Austen’s original novel, thesecharacterswill all seem like old friends, but they certainly don’t carry swords and firearms in the book, like they do in thiszombiedrama. We’ll have to wait and see if Jane Austen purists form some sort of protest over this adaptation.
