Bandai Namco Entertainmenthas confirmed there will be a Summer Showcase, debuting a new My Hero Academia game. The show will start on July 2 at Noon Pacific Time. In addition to the My Hero Academia game, we’ll get a gameplay deep dive for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, Code Vein II, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Death Note: Killer Within, Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots, Little Nightmares III and more. Bandai Namco has a lot in store for its fans.
Bandai Namco Has Many Games In Store
The Japanese game publisher will be hosting a global livestream on YouTube and Twitch on the coming Wednesday. It will be showing off many upcoming titles, and the event’s trailer gives a brief look at Deku in the new My Hero Academia-related game.
It looks similar to the My Hero One’s Justice series, which has the beloved anime characters, both heroes and villains, fighting each other in an arena setting.My Hero One’s Justice 2is the last mainline fighting game in the My Hero franchise.

There will be an “exclusive trailer reveal” for Towa and the Guardians of the Tree, a new roguelite from the JRPG/fighting game publisher. As the title suggests, you’ll be playing as Towa and eight different guardians, who each have their own weapons and abilities on offer. Similar to another roguelite experience, Hades, the village the characters visit changes. You’ll be able to make bonds with the residents, learn about its customs, and craft new swords at the smithing shop, according to the game’sSteam page. Additionally, you’ll be able to train at the dojo to possibly increase your characters' stats and summon powerful Graces.

Bandai Namco will also be showcasing a new trailer for the upcoming Tekken 8 DLC character Fahkumram. The Tekken X page has confirmed that the video will include the game’s producer Michael Murray in Thailand, driving a tuk-tuk. The character drops for early access players on July 8, while the official release is three days later on July 11.
Despite the sheer number of upcoming releases from Bandai Namco coming soon, there are other games that could be revealed during the event. The company has said that there is a new HD remaster coming for one game in theTales of series. Many speculate it could be either Tales of Xillia from the PS3 era or Tales of the Abyss, which received a Nintendo 3DS port.

Shadow Labyrinth Will Have a Presence
The Metroidvania Pac-Man game Shadow Labyrinth will also be shown during the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase. It launches relatively soon on July 18. “The use of Pac-Man-like gameplay mechanics within a Metroidvania aesthetic is an enticing one as you’re challenged across these maze-like levels to reach the end and get a reward,” saidour previewfrom MCM Comic Con.
Shadow Labyrinth will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Two previous PlayStation exclusive series Hot Shots Golf and Patapon are also getting releases by Bandai Namco.Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shotswill feature Pac-Man when it swings on by to PS5, PC, and the Nintendo Switch this September.
