Nacon’s teams have spent years working on this upcoming Pro controller. The Revolution 5 Pro is designed for competition and as such is meant to provide extra features for the most hardcore of gamers. The developers have worked closely with professional gamers such as Mister Crimson, who is renowned as being one of the best versus-fighting players in the world. Every aspect of this controller was designed with the needs of the most demanding players in mind, striving to deliver the best possible performance in both professional tournaments and leisure gaming on the couch. For those who prefer reading to video here is a glimpse at the features the Revolution 5 Pro offers. This controller will feature asymmetrical thumbsticks for optimal handling and distinct ergonomics. For gaming setups wireless is preferred to tethered gameplay and the battery claims to offer ten hours per charge for longer play sessions with optimized latency thanks to RF technology. But it also comes with a three meter detachable cable which allows for wired gameplay so having to stop playing to recharge the controller isn’t necessary. Compared to the previous Revolution controllers, the Revolution 5 Pro uses Hall Effect technology for enhanced precision and durability, with the intended goal of reducing joystick drift. Trigger Blocker is an included featuer that allows players to adapt to any situation by customizing trigger amplitude.
Customization is a popular feature of these more advanced controllers which is included in the Revolution 5 Pro. There are four customizable profiles per platform, and the controller includes three sets of weights, stick sizes and stick heads which offer more than 60 customizable options. The player will be able to use a customization app (PC/Mac, mobile coming soon) to set up the controller in the way that is best suited for their playstyle. For improved ergonomics there are buttons located on the back of the controller whose function can be assigned by the player. Bluetooh game audio is included so when the controller is connected to the console the player can switch between console sound and Bluetooth stereo headphone. The Revolution 5 Pro comes with a storage case and is compatible with PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
