Following the same strategy asMonster Hunter WorldandMonster Hunter Rise, the Japanese company is set to release several content updates. The first one has already been announced and will arriveon April 4, completely free of charge.

Mizutsune Leads the Wilds Update

Mizutsune, one of the greatLeviathan-classmonsters introduced inMonster Hunter Generations, previously appeared inMonster Hunter Rise. However, this time it boasts a fresh appearance and new moves, making it a worthy challenge.

This elegant, bubble-coated monster won’t come alone. It will be joined by theArch-Tempered Rey Dau, ahigh-difficulty challengefor huntersrank 50 or higher(available for a limited time). This new variant also comes with a powerfulnew armor set.
Additionally,final boss Zoh Shiawill return throughevent quests, allowing players tofarm its armor and Palico gear. But that’s not all—there’s plenty more content lined up for release.

One of the major highlights of this update is a brand-newcentral HUB, a gathering base where hunters can socialize, eat, compete in arm wrestling, and evenplay bowling with giant bombs.
Thevillage of Sujawill come to life starting atHunter Rank 16, featuringseasonal events and festivals, similar to those seen inMonster Hunter World. There will also belive performancesand additional activities.

The long-awaitedArena Questswill finally be available (one of the biggest omissions in the base game). Additionally,Alma’s outfit will be customizable, and variouspaid cosmetic DLCshave been confirmed.
