The release date for Dragon’s Dogma 2 may have just been leaked by a recent game rating. Capcom has announced a 15 minute showcase for the game happening later this month.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 may have had its release date leaked according to a recent rating of the game. The epic return of Capcom’s fantasy open worldAction-RPGapparently is launching onMarch 22nd 2024for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC if the leaks are to be believed.
The PEGI rating was for Europe which listed Dragon’s Dogma 2 to be PEGI 18. This could have accidentally revealed the release date early. Now take this with a grain of salt as Capcom has not released any official news on this just yet. When trying to access the website now, it seems to be under maintenance, but netizens have taken screenshots of the rating before it went down which was shared by X (twitter) account Wario64:
Coming from a game rating such as PEGI, does raise suspicion if this could be true. Capcom’s fiscal year finishes on March 31st 2024. This would put DD2 right at the end of it.
However, according to Capcom’s official Q&A last month, they are expected to have a “major unannounced” titlereleased sometime before March 2024. As Dragon’s Dogma 2 has already been revealed this is probably not the title they were talking about maybe a new Monster Hunter title, an RE game or possibly a brand new IP. It’s unclear if it means it would be a reveal rather than a released game, if so that could support the DD2 leaked date. There is a showcase happening this month which does have curious timing with this recent possible leak.
Capcom’s DD2 Showcase
Capcom officially announced they will be holding a showcase. There will be a 15-minute showcase happening onNovember 28th at 1PM PST, set to unveil brand-new gameplay reveals. It will be led by director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi. This could also be a way for Capcom to announce the launch date of the game although nothing is certain.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is set to be four times bigger than its predecessor, with an open world. There will benew advanced classesto master and new ways to get around byOxcart. The game’s AIPawnsystem will also be returning no doubt enhancing the fun combat from the first game.
