Killing Floor 3 Launches July 24
Among the major co-op games of 2025 was the title developed byTripwire Interactive, this third installment of the intense franchise that pits us against zombie-like creatures.
That was the original plan—to launch the game in March; however, criticism during the open beta period led to an inevitable delay.

Now, the American developer has nearly completed the “revised and expanded” version of the horror shooter, which will be available on consoles and PC this summer.
After months of uncertainty,Killing Floor 3finally has a release date for PC (viaSteamandEpic Games Store),PlayStation 5, andXbox Series X|S, as announced by the studio.

Originally scheduled for March 25, the game was postponed to improve overall polish and fine-tune key details based on player suggestions.
Developer Statement: Listening to the Community
“We used the extra development time to address community feedback and ensure the next chapter in the franchise aligns with our shared vision,” explained Bryan Wynia, Creative Director at Tripwire.
During this time, updates were shared through official forums and social media, showcasing improvements in areas like design, UI, and animations.

This effort to maintain constant communication will continue beyond the official release, according to Tripwire.

Pre-orders and Game Editions Available Again
Additionally, theStandard, Deluxe, and Elite Nightfall editionsof the game are once again available for pre-order on major digital platforms.
Set in the year 2091,Killing Floor 3takes place 70 years after its predecessor. The megacorporation Horzine has created an army of biomodified Zeds, and only the rebel group Nightfall can stop them.

The game will support co-op for up to five players, combining frantic action, skill progression, and a customizable arsenal.
