The author owns a movie theatre, but it didn’t haveDoctor Strange 2, so he had to watch it somewhere else. “Parris [McBride, his wife] and I did finally catch it a few days ago, though, and… I have to say, I loved it,” Martin wrote. He praised Raimi for his artistic direction in the movie, and the version of Doctor Strange that he created was the character that the writer fell in love with when he was younger.
Martin went on to share how he was only 15 years old when he attended the world’s first Comic-Con in Greenwich Village back in 1964. WatchingDoctor Strange 2filled the author with so many memories from this event, and he confessed that the movie “woke the sleeping Marvel fanboy” in him.
