Whenever defeated by Melinoe with the Tablet of Peace in hand, Melinoe’s Witch mentor gifts her the familiar-based Incantation. Once this run concludes, return to the cauldron at the Crossroads and craft the Familiar Spirits Incantation. After this, you can thencraft the Beast-Loved Morselrecipe, which is used to actually recruit new familiars. There is only one problem with the Beast-Loved Morsel recipe: it requires Witch’s Delights.
How To Get Witch’s Delights In Hades 2
Getting Witch’s Delight is an elaborate ordeal inHades 2. First, you need tofind the secret Realm of Chaos room.This is a hidden region that can appear at any point during your runs, and is identified by an eye-shaped door built into the floor.
Once you meet Chaos,give them more Nectaruntil you are rewarded with theAbyssal Insight Incantation.Once you have crafted the Abyssal Insight Incantation, a new crystal appears in Melinoe’s room that unlocks the Chaos Trials mini-game.
Although Chaos Trials will be your main source for Witch’s Delight, the Wretched Broker will sometimes offer this invaluable reagent in their inventory.
The Chaos Trials is a mid-to-late game activity wherein players take on modified versions of familiar enemies with pre-set weapons and boons. For example, the Trial of Salts sees youfight Scylla and the Sirenswith the Sister Blades and Poseidon boons. At the end of a successful Chaos Trial run, you are rewarded with Star Dust. you’re able to thenexchange that Star Dust for Witch’s Delights at the Crossroads cauldronand start building out your familiar collection.
