How to Increase Potion Capacity in Diablo 4

The only way to increase your potion limit in Diablo 4 is to progress through theRenown system.You’ll gainRenown pointsand unlocktiered rewardsby discovering Waypoints, unlocking Strongholds and finding new areas. Attier two, you’ll earn an extra potion slot forall your characters! You can do this up tofive times, once per region.

Each region in Diablo 4 has this Renown tree, with the second tier requiring300 points. To give you an idea of what it takes to get here, you would have to finish ten side quests for the first tier and clear three Strongholds to reach the second.

Considering many of these activities are helpful for progression, you’ll find yourself racking up Renown quickly throughout your playthrough. Half the time, I get these by accident just by randomly running around and doing side quests!

How to Get Renown Points in Diablo 4

With that said, you may get up to five extra potions if you reach tier two in all five regions! That raises your default carry capacity from four to nine! Yes, that is over double. Trust me; you’ll need it as you increase your World Tier.
