Enshrouded: How to get Ammonia Glands
If you are just starting your adventure in Enshrouded, I have some bad news. Or, well, good news depending on your perspective. You see, Ammonia Gland is a late-game material that you will need to collect to both upgrade yourFlame Altarfurther or even to craftLeather, which is one of the main materials necessary to get late-game armor. The fact that this is late-game material means that you will need to play a decent amount of the game and upgrade your Flame Altar to level 4.
This is easier said than done since you will have to defeat the Fell Wispwyvern, which is arguably one of the hardest fights in the game. However, if you may achieve this victory, and after upgrading your Flame Altar, you can visit theNomad Highlands, which house red mushroom enemies similar to the green ones you find across Revelwood. With that being said, the best area that houses these mushroom enemies is theUmber Hollow, just east of the Pillars of Creation and southwest of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire.

Once you have collected your Ammonia Gland, you will only be starting your journey toward Flame Altar level 5. In case you are wondering, most of these items will be located across the Nomad Highlands and its vicinities. Here is a list of the materials you will need to collect:

Defeat those red mushroom foes which might as well be Toads and collect the Ammonia Gland in Enshrouded. Other than using them for the Flame Altar, you may also use the Hunter’s Tanning Station to craft the leather and defend yourself against the Fell Monstrosity, another impossible fight.
