These events start to appear duringWorld Tier 3and 4, and while traversing the Helltide Events, you may come across special chests.

You’ll have to explore the Helltide Event until you come across one of these Living Steel chests. Theyrequire 300 Aberrant Cinders to open, which are drops available from completing events and defeating enemies in the Helltide Events. This is a large number of Aberrant Cinders, but if you grind hard enough, you’re able to then unlock the Living Steel chests.
As a tip, the Living Steel chests willonly appear on your map once you’re close enough, so you’ll need to search around yourself for them to appear. Typically, during one Helltide Event area, only around two to three Living Steel chests will spawn during one cycle. You’ll have to wait until the timer resets to go looking for more.
