How to dodge inDead Island 2
Dodging is one of the earliest tricks you learn to do inDead Island 2. You get dodge by reaching level 2, which should happen fairly early in your game. The dodge button is either the left shoulder button on your controller, or if you’ve changed the bindings, you can see what button is used via the Skill Card menu. To dodge, you need to press the button while holding a directional input to dodge in that direction. This seems easy to do, but getting the hang of dodging attacks before they hit you can take a while.
How to counter
You can counter inDead Island 2by dodging at the right time. When you see an enemy jump for you, and before they can hit you, you can dodge out of the way to put them in a counter state. Once the counter button appears, you can press that button and you will perform a counter on the enemy. This can take some practice to get right, but if you can get an easily killable zombie around to practice this skill, you can learn it pretty quickly.
Perfecting dodging and counters inDead Island 2is one of the ways to make the combat flow faster and make weapons last longer. The fewer hits you have to dish out, the more efficient you will be, meaning counters inDead Island 2are an easy way of making combat go smoothly.
