That’s not even including what you can get from the fish, which offers up a ton of new ways to get mastery. One fish tends to trip a lot of players up when heading into the Orb Vallis. Here’s how you can catch aSynathidin Warframe.
Where to Find the Synathid Fish in Warframe
TheSynathidis found withincave bodies of wateracross the Orb Vallis. It can generally only be found inhotspots, withSynathid bait recommendedto catch it. If you’re new to fishing, you’ll need to speak withThe BusinessinFortunaand acquire both aShock Fishing Spear(either Shockprod or Stunna works fine) along with a heap of Synathid bait. Getting some will cost you a few hundred Standing a piece, and I suggest you grab a few. Once you have those items, head into the Orb Vallis.
Once there, you’re going to want to look forcaves that house wateryou can fish in. There’s a ton across the Orb Vallis, but I tend to use either the caveNorthwest of the Reflector Controllandmark, or the oneSouthof the same location. The cave in between theGrow SiteandUstara Crateris great too. Once you find one, you’ll want to check if the water has a hotspot within it. Soon enough, the surprisingly small fish will appear. From there, it’s fishing just like normal.
What is the Synathid Useful For?
No matter if you catch aBasic, Adorned, orMagnificentSynathid, you will always get thesame amountof its exclusiveSynathid Ecosynth Analyzer.The only thing that will change is theScrap, which rangesbetween 4-8depending on the fish type. Each fish gives one Synathid Ecosynth Analyzer, with that resource being used for the following recipes:
If you’re only going after mastery, then the Baruuk Neuroptics, Helstrum, Larkspur, and optionally the Splat Loader will be all you care about. These come out to26 Synathid Ecosynth Analyzer. If you care about cosmetics as well, then you’ll need a staggering116 Synathid Ecosynth Analyzer. If that’s your end goal, then you’ll need a lot of bait.
