Building on the success ofHitman Go, a $4.99 turn-based stealth strategy game which made its App Store debutin April 2014, developer Square Enix Montréal on Thursday released another iOS game focused on Agent 47.
CalledHitman: Sniper, the assassination game puts you in the shoes of a contract killer. It’s set in Montenegro, a country in Southeastern Europe with a coast on the Adriatic Sea and bordered by my home country: Croatia.

Hitman: Sniper challenges you with multiple scenario-driven contracts on a hugely varied map that contains many targets and assignments.
Developers say that the map evolves as you progress throughout the game. This is by design because the levels are meant to be replayed many times over as you compete against friends for world rankings and best score.

The game contains about 150 missions.
A progression system of sorts strives to make things more interesting with secret areas that can be uncovered. In addition, you’re able to boost your sniper rifle by obtaining new parts that improve its accuracy, reliability and other features.
“Scope in on your marks using skill, subtlety, subterfuge and the environment to complete your contracts,” reads the blurb.

“Eliminate targets, collect weapon parts and complete blueprints to unlock the most powerful rifles.“
Check out the launch trailer below.
Developers caution that the game does not perform well on older devices like the iPad 2, iPad Mini, iPhone 4s and fifth-generation iPod Touch due to complex graphics.
