Marvel has returned to Fortnite with Chapter 5 Season 4, and Absolute Doom brings a bunch of new Mythics and a few returning items to the island. While the main Avengers take a backseat to other Marvel heroes this season, the loot pool is still filled with fun Marvel gadgets and powers that will surely shake up the Fortnite meta.
Every Mythic in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5
There areseven unique Mythic itemsthat can currently be obtained in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5. Most of these are new, but a select few like Captain America’s Shield have been featured in previous Fortnite events.
Dual Micro SMGs
The weapon of choice for Gwenpool, theDual Micro SMGsare featured as normal loot during Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5. If you meet up withtheGwenpool NPC on the map, however, you can snag a Mythic variant of these guns that will deal much more damage than their standard counterparts.
War Machine’s Arsenal
War Machine hasmultiple Mythic itemsavailable this season, so you can customize your loadout and split these Mythics between your squad mates as you wish.War Machine’s Arsenalallows you to fire a hail of bullets and rockets at enemies,War Machine’s Auto Turretsare shoulder-mounted auto-turrets, andWar Machine’s Hover Jetslet you glide through the air.
Each of these items are available as normal loot during C4S5, and they have a greater chance of dropping fromAvengers chestslike other Marvel Mythics.

Monarch Pistol
TheMonarch Pistolis an all-new sidearm added to Fortnite in Chapter 4 Season 5, and there’s a Mythic variant that can be obtained by defeating theDoombotboss in theCastle Doomthrone room. You can find Castle Doom in the northeast corner of the island. Doombot also dropsthe Siphon Medallion, which grants you health and shields when you eliminate opponents.
Sovereign Shotgun
Mysterio makes his Fortnite debut in Chapter 4 Season 5, and he brings the newMythic Sovereign Shotgunwith him! This shotgun can be found as normal loot during battle royale matches, but defeatingMysterioat the newDoomstadtPOI located on the northern side of the island will reward you with the Mythic version of it. Mysterio also drops the Stealth Medallion, which turns you invisible when you crouch.
Striker Burst Rifle
The fan-favoriteStriker Burst Rifleis back in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5! Just like before, you can find it as a part of the standard loot pool for the season. The newEmma Frostboss atThe RaftPOI on the western side of the island between Grim Gate and Sandy Steppes drops the Mythic Striker Burst Rifle, though. She also drops the Reveal Medallion, which periodically pings nearby enemies.
Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets
This Doctor Doom-centric season wouldn’t be complete without a Doom-themed Mythic.Doom’s Arcane Gauntletsdrop from theDoombotboss at theCastle DoomPOI along with the Mythic version of the Monarch Pistol. These gauntlets are so powerful that they’re disabled in competitive tournaments, so have your fun with them in battle royale before the inevitable nerf arrives.
Captain America’s Shield
Returning from the Avengers Endgame LTM all the way back in Chapter 1 of Fortnite,Captain America’s Shieldis a welcome addition to the Chapter 4 Season 5 loot pool. As you’d expect, it blocks incoming damage. It can now be charged to absorb more damage, though, and it also blocks projectiles while sliding and jumping as well.
You can find it as normal loot in battle royale matches, but it has a higher chance of dropping fromAvengers chests.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 has a ton of new content to enjoy and new skins to unlock, so leveling up your Battle Pass should be your main priority if you want to get Shuri, Mysterio, and more Marvel characters. If you run out of battle royale challenges, you can always make use ofCreative XP mapsto gain a few levels without much effort.
