In the world ofEscape From Tarkov, a violent andunforgiving FPSwith little to no hand-holding for the player, there are no heroes or villains. The man known as Skier is no better, but he’s offering low-level playersequipment and cashin exchange for some seemingly simple errand work. If players are willing to go along with less-than-reputable employment, they may find themselves well rewarded.
Lost & Found Equipment
After doing some initial discussion and busywork, the Skier will present players who are at least level 7 with a quest offer. The Skier is an arms dealing merchant and in-game vendor located in the Tarkov Customs District. The quest, The Extortionist, will see players tasked with locating astash of hidden cargoandthe keythat will unlock access to the cargo. Both the key and the locked away cargo can be found on the Customs map, one of several industrial-heavy areas in Tarkov.
The Customs Map is a near an even mixture of open woodland and heavy industrial zones, leaving players with different paths to take and load-outs to consider before heading out into the field. Both the key, found on the corpse of adead Scav, and the cabin that contains the desired cargo, are found in theindustrialsection of the map, with lots of windows, alleys, and corners that could hold enemy players, hostile AI, or valuable loot. The Scav’s body can be found laid out in a massive bush near a concrete wall and a red shipping container behind a warehouse. The cabin itself is eastbound from the body, a tiny sheet-metal shack with metal-barred windows next to someabandoned rail tracksnear a window-covered warehouse. Opening the cabin and going inside, the specific cargo can be foundbeneath a jacketon the ground. With the item in their inventory, players will simply need to successfully exfil the areaalive, after they’ve done any optional looting in the area, and head straight back to Skier with the recovered cargo, and The Extortionist quest will be complete.

Skier Rewards
Skier will be happy that the player recovered the cargo and has brought it back to him, and the player will be rewarded in money and firepower for their efforts. The monetary reward will vary from person to person, as this is a variable that isinfluenced by the player’s Intelligence Center Level. Having a higher Intelligence Center will granthigher payoutsin Roubles or other physical currencies for completing quests in the game. For completing The Extortionist, players will be rewarded with:
