Diablo 4has unveiled its roadmap for 2025, titledThe Age of Hatred. Introduced byBlizzard, it promises major gameplay changes, massive content drops, and plenty of surprises.

Alongside the long-promised increase in difficulty, this roadmap spans multiple seasons, key updates, and even some unexpected collaborations.

The current season,Witchcraft(January to April), is just a taste of what’s to come. Players can expect arcane powers, an overhauled Armory system, a new Bounty Hunt feature, and much more.

This morning, Blizzard revealed its complete roadmap for 2025, dubbed The Age of Hatred—a bold plan covering four content-packed seasons.

The Return of Belial(April to July), the second season withinThe Age of Hatred, will dive deeper into Apparition Raids and mark the beginning of a brand-new collaboration with an unannounced franchise. This season will also coincide with Diablo 4’s second anniversary, bringing special events and exciting rewards.

Sins of the Horadrim(July to September) will take players deeper intoNightmare Dungeons, introducing new mechanics that progressively increase the difficulty. This season will also bring support for keyboard and mouse on consoles.

Infernal Chaos(September to December) will revamp theHelltideexperience and feature another surprise collaboration with an external IP.

Teasing the Future: A New Expansion?

Blizzard also announced core system overhauls, including changes to the Battle Pass and the Seasonal Journey. Seasons 9 and 10 will allow players to unlock new pets as well.

Following in the footsteps of theVessel of Hatredexpansion,The Age of Hatredis already laying the groundwork for Diablo 4’s next major content update, set to launch in 2026.

Interestingly, the 2025 roadmap teaser features a mysterious figure surrounded by flames with the word “new…”—sparking speculation about a potential new playable class or another major announcement.
