Death Stranding 2confirms its attendance at Tokyo Game Show 2024 as part of PlayStation’s conferences, with a roundtable dedicated to this new installment of the game.
Death Stranding 2 Will Be Spotlighted at Sony’s Event
Many are wondering whatDeath Stranding 2: On the Beach, the highly anticipated sequel to the game Kojima Productions released in 2019 for PS4, will be like. According to Hideo Kojima himself, this second installment seems to be even more surreal than the original game.
Death Stranding 2 will be one of the major PS5 exclusives in 2025 (likely with the PS5 Pro already on sale) and represents one of the two titles Kojima and his development team are working on.
Actors and actresses like Norman Reedus, Troy Baker, Elle Fanning, and Léa Seydoux will be part of the sequel, and we’ve even seen the iconic director George Miller portraying one of the characters in the title.
From September 26 to 29, 2024, the Tokyo Game Show 2024, Japan’s most important video game event, will take place. And, after being absent at Gamescom, we know that Sony PlayStation will attend the event.
This makes it almost impossible for us to see a digital PlayStation event in September, so all eyes are on the Japanese expo. And yes, Death Stranding 2 will be one of the main attractions.
Kojima Productions has announced on its official website that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will reveal new details at Tokyo Game Show 2024, as part of a roundtable discussion.

A new preview of the Kojima Productions game will be shown, although we don’t yet know to what extent (whether it will be a trailer, gameplay, or even a release date or window).
In addition to Kojima and Miura, the roundtable will feature personalities like Kenjiro Tsuda, Nana Mizuki, Tomokazu Sugita, Shion Wakayama, and Nicolas Winding Refn.
Additionally, Kojima Productions will have a booth at the expo, where attendees can purchase a series of Death Stranding merchandise.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beachis one of the most anticipated PS5 games for 2025, and along with Overdose, it is Hideo Kojima’s major project for the future. In about a month, we’ll know more about the sequel to Sam Porter’s adventures.
