Update 42 & Gold Road Chapter introduced a new trial with fantastic gear sets and mythic to ESO, and it made many small changes to existing builds.
Updated:July 21, 2025,update 42 and Gold Road Chapterin The Elder Scrolls Online.In update 42, the developers added the Scribing Feature, a new trial, 10 item sets, and three mythics, with minimal balance changes. New gear sets are promising compared to existing items in ESO and will change current setups. Notably, new features include a new Scribing system allowing players to customize their spells with Grimoires and Scripts.
