Riot Forge has announced a crafting RPG called Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story heading to Switch and PC on February 21st.
Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story A Crafting RPG Announced
Riot Forge has recently announced that Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story, the crafting RPG from Lazy Bear Games, is now open for pre-orders across all applicable digital platforms. Exclusive digital rewards, including a Bandle Scout Hat, Bandle Scout Poro, Evergreen Cottage, and a Yordle recipe, will be given to all those who pre-order the game. The game is set to launch on February 21st, 2024, and will be available on Nintendo Switch and PC platforms through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
In Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story, will allow fans to the opportunity to step into the shoes of a Yordle, one of the many eccentric and endearing residents of Bandle City. When the city’s portal network experiences a glitch, causing their world to descend into disorder, it’s up to you to restore equilibrium.
Players can engage in gathering, crafting, and hosting delightful parties to complete quests alongside popular League of Legends champions like the annoying but cute captain Teemo, Tristana, Veigar, and others, all in an effort to save Bandle City and bring its citizens back together. The game’s laidback setting is sure to attract a diverse range of players, from League fans to those who enjoy “cozy games” and beyond. It surely takes League’s hectic side of gameplay to a much cosier level.
Pre-Orders
Futhermore players can now purchase the Deluxe Edition for $29.99 and a Collector’s Edition is available on the official Riot mech website for $149.99. The standard edition is available for $24.99. The Deluxe Edition includes the base game and a DLC bundle, which features a Poro Pet skin pack, Backpack House Skin Pack, Particle Effect Trails Pack, and Secret Menu Pack. The Collector’s Edition offers five Yordle figurines, a Bandle Center diorama Kit, a set of stickers, a set of wooden pins, a notebook, a hardcover art book, a special Collector’s Edition box, and all the digital content that comes with the Deluxe edition.
Bandle Tales isn’t the first spin-off we’ve had based on the League of the Legends universe. Previously there was the Action-RPGThe Mageseekerand the story turn-based RPGRuined King. Bandle Tales is a bit of stark contrast to these previous titles and the upcoming second season of the animated adaptation of Netflix’s gritty Arcane. Lazy Bear Games looks to tap into League’s much fuzzy side to the world.
