The triumph of a movie at the box office is hard to predict. Sometimes while producing the most absolute crap, directors hope for success. The other times, they’re making gems that they’re hoping to bomb. Here are 15 movies that their creators expected to flop:
1George Lucas as well as many other Fox Studios executives were certain thatStar Warswouldn’t work at the Box Office. Lucas was so certain, he even talked in pre-release interviews about going back to the experimental cinema once he finishes up Star Wars.
