Carlos Muñoz, veteran location scout for Netflix’sNarcos, was shot and killed last week in a rural area of Mexico outside of Mexico City. The circumstances surrounding the death of 37-year old Muñoz remain a mystery at this time, but the area where he was scouting is apparently anotoriously violent areanear the borders of Hidalgo state.
